We would like to express our gratitude towards Teresa Cline for all of her outstanding effort she put forth in helping us purchase our first home. Teresa made the home buying process a joyful experience, which was a welcome discovery for a somewhat scared young couple buying their first home.

While it may not be uncommon for real estate agents to work on weekends, Teresa took that trait to another level as she invited us into her office on a late Saturday afternoon and continued talking with us until the early evening hours when she felt she had a good understanding of what type of house would suit us best.

After realizing that we would not be so lucky to find a house in the location we wanted as a result of our budget, we were set to head out away from the city on our next house hunting trip when Teresa called the night before asking us to meet her at a location somewhat in the middle. There she had found a new development that might fit our needs and would provide for a compromise on the location aspect.

Sure enough, when we arrived there the next morning, we found our new home. It had all the amenities we were looking for and a good location. In a surprising turn of events, we signed the documents that day and were done with the first step towards owning our new home.

In addition to helping us find the actual house, Teresa was such a wonderful help with all of the questions that came up along the way. We had plenty of questions regarding documents and processes and we felt absolutely welcome to call her with any and all of them. In fact, one of our calls resulted from the discovery that some errors were made in the installation of interior features of our house and we wanted advice on how to talk to the builders the next day. Without hesitation, Teresa said she would be there with us the next morning to talk to the builders. It felt great going into that meeting with Teresa there as our support. Walking in with her, everyone at the meeting knew there would be no "fast-talking" on this one; it was a great feeling for us.

From start to finish, our home buying experience was made very comfortable by Teresa Cline. With her expertise, we found our perfect house and walked through the buying process with ease. We have already recommended Teresa to friends of ours and will continue to do so in the future. Last week, we closed on property in Newport News at -----. My son has recently taken a job in an engineering firm in Newport News, and we had a very short time period in which to find adequate housing for him. A friend and client of mine here in Richmond who is with Long and Foster recommended another realtor initially and, for whatever reason, the first weekend we went to look for housing she only had one property lined up to see. After that weekend, I talked to my friend and asked for another referral and he recommended Teresa Cline of your firm.

From the moment we contacted her, she invested a surprising amount of time and energy into compiling a list of potential properties and arranging times for us to see them. Since we live in Richmond and since we only had a short period of time in which to find a house, her efficient efforts in arranging our time were greatly appreciated.

She also helped us to focus our search after looking at several representative properties, and the property we ultimately purchased was actually one that was for sale by owner that we noticed while looking at another property in the same development.

Even though I am an attorney and do a fair amount of residential real estate work, it is not my specialty, and I asked Teresa to assume that I knew nothing about the process.
